Meet Denise

Denise Mercado has spent over 20 years as an educator specializing in mathematics. Her passion lies in empowering at-risk youth to overcome limiting beliefs and embrace their potential.

Beyond the classroom, Denise has served in women’s ministry and participated in seven mission trips to the Dominican Republic. These experiences revealed her deeper purpose: encouraging women who feel worn down by life and struggle with identity and self-worth.

After 25 years of marriage and adopting two children, the pressure to be the perfect wife and mother in a dysfunctional home became unbearable. At her breaking point, she chose to leave—not because it was easy, but because it was the only way to survive. During this season, Denise discovered the deep need for healing when her life unraveled. Emerging was born from that place—a story of surrender, faith, and restoration.

Now living in California, Denise finds peace by the ocean, joy in dancing, and creativity in pottery and painting—reminders that, in God’s hands, brokenness can be reshaped into something beautiful.
